Unlock full TX/RX

This information was sourced from SV3GCB (Dimitris) page and is copied here for my own reference.

  1. Place radio in lock mode (FUNC + TOT)
  2. Press V/M, MHZ, MONITOR,V/M, MHZ, MONITOR,V/M, MHZ, MONITOR
  3. The LCD will show OPEN, press any key to clear this message
  4. Exit lock mode

After unlocking the available frequency ranges are:

  • Left VFO:
    • 130 – 173 MHz
  • Right VFO (press the volume knob to toggle MAIN first, and the band second)
    • 400 – 490 MHz
    • 800 – 999 MHz
