A quick activation with the QMX to test out the finished linked dipole. It worked well! It took a little time to find a place to set it up, out of the way, but this was fine. I set up the third guy rope to across the water so I had to jump across a few times but all was well.
17 QSO’s in the log, one more with LB8IJ – Ham Radio Passion, and when running out of space in the logbook the only nearby page was one with my drawing of the M1GEO Satellite Moxon.. And M1GEO was the second call to be logged on that page. I tried to thank him for the Yagi (TU FER YAGI) but as we’re both learning – and I messed up some – I don’t think I got the message across.
