Aardzee is the largest land art in the Netherlands, where the ground has been piled up into waves to represent the sea. Pretty apt considering it is located at the bottom of a former sea at -4.5m below sea level. It is a nice break from the flat farmland all around.

This is another park that was recently added, and is right on the way to and from work. After calling it quits early I went out for a quick POTA activation. Conditions were supposedly pretty good but most signals came in at a mere whisper – maybe I should’ve set up the dipole.

Also what is a common filter size? I generally leave my CW passband at about 300 Hz, but had a few Italian stations come in where I could only hear the key clicks until I opened the filter up. I had already written it off as QRM by that point but it just fit the CQ-rhythm too well.
